This product is called Flocrete and can be a significant cost saving for customers versus replacing an existing concrete driveway. The most common request for new concrete driveways is exposed aggregate, as it comes in a wide variety of aggregate mixes and also provides improved vehicle traction as opposed to plain concrete. In some instances customers choose to reduce height to allow for greater head room into garages or remove humps and bumps from the existing driveway that may be causing the undercarriage of your car to scrape on entry or exit.
In some instances customers choose to remove the kerb at the entry point of their driveway allowing for a smoother transition from the road. In most circumstances a permit is required from your local council to remove a kerb or to install a new driveway. We work with clients to obtain permits on their behalf as part of our overall service.
If you have existing concrete that you would like to match into, in most cases we can provide samples to match as closely as possible. Depending on the age of the existing concrete there may be a slight difference.
